May 23 is the finale of a heavenly display of the Moon. For some reason, it has looked full for a few days, but this is the Official fullosity. (a little reminder)
This is the Flower Moon, not just because flowers are in bloom, but also since the floral scent is at its most miraculous. Rhinos function on scent signals, and this is a highlight of the Rhino Year, any year. Fragrance Extravaganza!
Plants flower in a series that Nature determines. Not all on a given day, but according to Natural discretion. The system works largely by insect response. One plant blooms, and the bees go berserk. Another plant family kicks in, and the bees go even more berserk, plus other critters jump on board. It constitutes quite a fiesta!
So We always think of the Flower Moon, not only for the banquet of tastes, but also for the array of inhaled stimuli associated with them. And yes, Rhinos squeal. Loud.
Thus the Critter in the Moon is seen with flowers and plants, appreciating Nature’s generosity. We see Rhinos in the moon, while other critters see themselves. Plenty of Moonlight for everyone.
