There is an irony among all creatures: each has a label, like Rhinoceros or YIR Reader or Armadillo. While these definitions have importance, they do not nail down much of anything. A third party could probably distinguish a Rhino from a Butterfly, but there the discussion would stall.
Obviously, no two of Us are the same. We come in a startling range of styles, and always have. (See March 24) While Rhinos fit the mold, the recipe for each of Us varies. We share many qualities and sensibilities, but no one of Us is identical to another.
The same is true of gnats, in case they come up in conversation.

So, we’re shaped by the mold, but it’s the frosting that makes the difference? Ah.

The ingredients of the cookie itself, however shaped, make the Big Difference. Plus cooking time. The frosting is mostly the “come hither” element.
